I started this blog in 2009 when I started Weight Watchers - and not for the first time. Three months later, I was down 15 lbs, felt like no one was noticing and that the weight wasn't coming off fast enough. I felt completely discouraged, so I quit. Of course, I gained all that weight back - and then some.
In May 2010, I stepped on the scale for the first time in over a year, and was shocked by the number I saw. I had never been heavier, and I had never been unhappier with the reflection in the mirror. I immediately signed up for Weight Watchers Online again, and am determined to reach my goal. I worked hard and lost about 30 lbs, which I chronicled here from 2010 - early 2012. I felt fantastic most of the time, frustrated some of the time, and truly fit and fabulous on occasion.
Then life got in the way. I bought a condo, got married, started a new job and put all the weight I'd lost back on. I stopped blogging, I stopped exercising, I stopped making myself a priority.
Now I'm back.
This is a day-to-day record of my highs, my lows, and the new things I try on my way down the scale.
